Rolling Stones and Red Skelton

Yes, It actually happened.
In an effort to reach a younger audience (he already had the 70+ crowd nailed)
Red Skelton had his musty carcass shipped off to London to see what all this rock'n'roll fuss was about.
He catches the Stones live (sort of) and delivers some comic gems about their long hair.
I guess he thought the screaming teens would drown out his creaking bones.

Anyway, you can catch all of this and more in "Ultimate Stones TV";
A treasure trove of vintage Stones including their first US appearance.

The other Groovie Ghoulies

This great pop-powered punk outfit from Sacramento was all the rage in the 80's and 90's.

They were a mainstay of the "Warped" tour and always kept the crowds jumping with their monsterized form of punk. They finally gave up the ghost in 2007.
The loss is truly ours.

They left behind a legacy of indy hits such as "Tunnel Of Love", "Chupacabra", and "Running With Bigfoot".
Check them out!

Groovie Goolies

This wacky spin-off of "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" featured parodies of Universal monster favorites in a "Laugh-In" type format; lot's of quick comedy bits and a musical number or two. I swear it was funny when I was little.

Remember Creepy Crawlers?

How I long for the days of these wonderful and yet horribly unsafe toys.
If I recall correctly, this one had an exposed heating element and a metal mold that got red hot! Ah, that takes me back! Enjoy!

Crazy Kids And Their LSD!

Forget goofballs, these kids are all hopped up on something else. Enjoy this enlightened youth discussing the merits of taking LSD...What a trip!

Riot On Sunset Strip - Revolting Teens!

That's right, you can catch the Standells and The Chocolate Watchband in all their groovy glory in AIP's "Riot On Sunset Strip".
Loosely (very) based on a real life standoff between the cops and the hippies. This one's got something for everyone; far-out fashions, crazy teen lingo, go-go dancing, and lots of acid! Starring "Steel Helmet" star Aldo Ray as a concerned cop and Mimsy Farmer as a nice girl that takes a bad trip!

Out Of Sight!

The Turtles are just one of the many bands that make the scene in Universal Studio's teen surf comedy "Out Of Sight". Other acts include The Knickerbockers, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Dobie Gray, and Freddie and the Dreamers.
Alleged thespians include "CHIPS" captain Robert Pine ,"Land Of The Giants" star Deanna Lund as a sexy assassin, and Shindig dancer Carol Shelyne as a girl named Marvin.
Written by Larry Hovis, before hitting the big time on "Laugh-In" and "Hogan's Heroes".
